The handset is powered by Snapdragon 410, with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, the same configuration which the sister company is offering at 6,999 with yuphoria. Since it is an extremely slim phone, use of MT6752 or Snapdragon 615 would have resulted in “Heating”, which apparently is something consumer dread the most these days. Like all slim smartphones, this one too includes a 4.8 Inch AMOLED display to shave off some extra millimeters and like all compelling light smartphones, it is machined from light and durable aircraft grade Aluminum. There is no MicroSD card slot for expansion.
The 8 MP rear camera uses Sony IMX219 sensor, a blu light filter and a pro mode. A 5 MP front camera is present for selfies. Battery capacity is 2000 mAh, and Micromax claims this will last for one day of heavy usage. Battery performance was good on Canvas Knight 2 with its 2250 mAh battery and perhaps the optimizations and Amoled display will power this to last one whole day.
