The new Google Pixel Slate is just 7mm thin, features front-firing speakers and also works with Pixelbook Pen. It has extra protection with the Titan security chip. The Pixel Slate keyboard has round keys, a dedicated Google Assistant key and a large trackpad.

The Pixel Slate sports a 12.3-inch (3000×2000 pixels) LCD display with Google Pixelbook Pen support. Under the hood, it is powered by Intel Celeron Processor or 8th Gen Intel Core m3/i5/i7 Processor. It comes in 4GB RAM/32GB SSD or 8GB RAM/64GB SSD or 8GB RAM/128GB SSD or 16GB RAM with 256GB SSD options. It runs on Chrome OS.
In terms of camera, it sports an 8MP autofocus rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size. There is another 8MP camera at the front with f/1.9 aperture, 1.4μm pixel size, and wide field of view. It also sports dual front-firing speakers for surround sound. The power button doubles as a fingerprint sensor for better on-device security. It also features the Titan C security chip to protect your information and passwords. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz), 2×2 (MIMO), Bluetooth 4.2, and USB Type-C for charging. It packs 48Wh battery offering up to 12 hours usage.
Price, availability
The Pixel Slate with Intel Celeron Processor is priced at $599 (Rs. 44,395 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 32GB storage option. While the Pixel Slate with 8th Gen Intel Core m3 Processor and 8GB RAM with 64GB Storage costs $799 (Rs. 59,215 approx.). There is no word if these tablets will come to India.
