Display and Processor
Both of these smartphones flaunt a 5.5 Inch HD display, and both look equally good. we would say colors of Yureka are slightly more saturated and might appeal more to those who like saturated colors, while Honor 4x has better whites and slightly better viewing angles. While Yureka comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top, Huawei Honor Holly compensates with a scratch guard pre-installed on the display out of the box. Processor used in Yureka is Snapdragon 615 Octa Core, which is the elder sibling of Snapdragon 410 used in Honor 4x. Though both chipsets employ 2 GB RAM, Yureka has more horsepower, and this is noticeable in UI transitions and other areas.
Camera and Internal Storage
Both Yureka and Honor 4x have a 13 MP rear camera coupled with a 5 MP front camera. Though none of the two is an ideal shooter, both of them come pretty close in camera department. We are yet to test Honor 4x camera thoroughly, the rear sensor seems to capture more light in low light contions, while Yurega camera is much faster. Internal storage is 8 GB on Honor 4X and 8 GB on Honor 4X. Both smartphones support 32 GB MicroSD storage, But Yureka also supports USB OTG which allows you to directly attach flash drives to the phone.
Battery and Other Features
Battery capacity is 2500 mAh on Yureka and 3000 mAh on Honor 4x. In our experience so far, Honor 4X will benefit from the juicer battery and will last longer in day to day usage and by a margin. Yureka is powered by CyanogenOS which is indeed quite fluid, feature rich and is frequently updated. Yu will offer warranty even if you root or flash ROMs on your device. Honor 4x runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat based Emotion UI 3.0, which has a few aces up it’s sleeve as well. Which one you like more will be more a matter of personal taste. From performance point of view, CyanogenOS is lighter and more resource friendly of the two. Both handsets support 4G LTE, Dual SIM and similar other set of connectivity options.
Conclusion
Both Yureka and Honor 4x are good budget smartphones, and it is unlikely that you will be disappointed by any of the two. Design wise Honor 4x looks better but Yureka will appeal more to users who like to toggle with every aspect of their device.
