Intex Aqua Xtreme features 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, which is the most we can expect in this price range. The rear camera can record 1080p full HD videos. A 2 MP front camera is also present for video calling and selfies. Smartphone camera is one of the major highlights for average consumers and on paper Intex hasn’t compromised. Camera quality however can’t be judged from the MP count. Internal storage is ample 32GB. This is one of the major highlights of Aqua Xtreme and is more than what anyone else is offering at this price. There is option for further expansion by another 32 GB using MicroSD card support.
Processor and Battery
Intex Aqua Xtreme is powered by 1.7 GHz MediaTek MT6592 processor with Mali 450 MP4 GPU handling the graphics. The processor has been tried and tested over the year and is expected to be a decent performer. The chipset is aided by 2 GB RAM which is again above average in this price range. Battery capacity is 2000 mAh, which is below average. Considering the octa core chipset, you can expect the phone to last for one day with basic to moderate usage. Amidst other dazzling spec sheet, this seems to be the weak point. Intex hasn’t provided with battery backup statistics for Aqua Xtreme yet.
Display and Other Features
The display is 5 inches in size and sports 1280 x 720 pixel HD resolution. Intex hasn’t mentioned any scratch resistant layer on top. Since its an IPS LCD display, you can expect great viewing angles. The display seems sharp enough on paper. It is the slimmest Intex Phone till date at 6.99 mm and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Other features include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, Bluetooth, and FM radio options.

Intex has fit in Xtreme Storage in Intex Aqua Xtreme along with 2 GB RAM for its efficient usage. You can download and play with several apps. The battery capacity however offsets this adbvantage and is expected to be a limitation for power users. On the whole Intex Aqua Xtreme sounds like a decent value for money smartphone for basic and moderate users. You can buy it from major retail stores for 11,499 INR.
