Lately, Karbonn was in news for the release of Titanium S1 Plus and now the vendor has quietly unleashed another one dubbed Karbonn A25 Plus. This latest offering has been spotted on online retailer Snapdeal bearing a price tag of Rs 5,799. It has to be noted that only a few days back Micromax Bolt A69 was listed online for Rs 6,599. Elaborating on the specifications, the Karbonn A25 Plus features a 5 inch FWVGA display carrying a screen resolution of 854×480 pixels. Under its hood is a dual-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz speed and 512 MB of RAM. The handset is has a basic 5 MP primary shooter at the rear and a front-facing VGA camera to help in making video calls. The Karbonn A25 Plus features 4 GB of in-built storage space that can be extended externally up to 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card. Also on board are connectivity traits such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 2G, USB and dual SIM functionality. To fuel energy to the phone, there is a 1,800 mAh battery whose backup is not disclosed by the vendor. Given the budget pricing of the Karbonn A25 Plus, it should not be a great surprise for us to witness a dual-core processor or low RAM capacity in the phone, but it lacks 3G connectivity that is one of the most sought after aspect these days. If there was 3G in the handset, it would have been a great package for its pricing.
