Lenovo assures that the new update will bring bug fixes, more stability and improved performance besides version upgrade from 4.4 KitKat to 5.0 Lollipop. Lenovo also revealed that it has sold over 1.3 million units of A6000 and A6000plus till date. Unlike other recent Chinese arrivals, Lenovo has a well established distribution network in India. Cashing in on this advantage, the company has played its cards right and has fed A6000 into its distribution network. The A6000 Plus is exclusively available on Flipkart. “According to the IDC’s Asia/Pacific Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, Q2, 2015 ( August 2015 release) Lenovo has emerged as the biggest 4G smartphone brand in India with a whopping 29.4 per cent market share of the 4G smartphone market. Lenovo is leading the market trend with its aggressively priced 4G LTE smartphone portfolio, with over a million 4G devices sold during Q2, 2015,” states the company in its official press statement.

Talking of specifications, Lenovo A6000 and A6000 Plus include 5 inch IPS LCD display with 720p HD resolution and are powered by Snapdragon 410 chipset. The A6000 Plus includes 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage and the A6000 Plus, on the other hand, makes do with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. Other common features include 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, MicroSD expansion slot, Dual SIM card slots and 2300mAh battery. [table id=87 /]
