Microsoft posted an official teaser on its Lumia India Twitter handle on Wednesday and the device on the image appears to be that of the Lumia 735. The caption on the teaser reads, “#WideLies #ComingSoon #22Jan”.
The Lumia 735 is a single SIM device with almost similar specs as the Lumia 730 except the support for 4G LTE in the former. It flaunts a 4.7 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and a pixel density of 316 ppi along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Powering the device is a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 processor that is teamed up with 1 GB of RAM. The device packs in 8 GB of internal storage capacity that can be expanded up to 128 GB with the help of a micro SD card. Also, there is 15 GB of free OneDrive storage space with the Lumia 735. On the imaging front, the phone features a 6.7 MP main camera snapper with LED flash and a 5 MP front facing snapper with wide angle lens to click in wider selfies. There is a 2,220 mAh battery onboard the wireless charging support to energize the phone. It is rated that this battery will pump in up to 22 hours of talk time on 2G and up to 17 hours of talk time on 3G. Other aspects include Windows Phone 8.1 operating system along with Lumia Denim update.
