Expected to be unveiled on February 25, the first day of MWC 2018, the Nokia 1 is on its way to become the world’s first Android Oreo (Go Edition) phone with entry-level specifications. Now, the phone has surfaced on FCC after its certification, which means the launch is nearby. So here are the leaked specifications of the Nokia 1.

For the uninitiated, the Nokia 1 is expected to be an entry-level smartphone from the Finnish brand. The FCC listing shows the phone coming with a 5.36-inch diagonal frame, which means the display is not more than 5-inch in size. Earlier leaks also pointed at a 5-inch display on the device. Other than the panel, the listing also reveals the device coming with 4G LTE support and showcases Bluetooth 4.0 and 2.4GHz WiFi. This confirms the basic connectivity options on the phone. Being an Android 8.0 Oreo (Go Edition) device, the phone is tipped to come with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. The recently leaked press images showed the device coming with chunky bezels and a traditional entry-level display and looks. With a simple front, the phone may come with on-screen navigation buttons as there is no sign of capacitive keys. Also, the date mentioned on the display is 25 February, which indicates at a tentative launch date. Coming to the back, the phone is shown sporting a single camera with flash. With vertical Nokia branding at the back, we can also see a small speaker grille at the bottom right side of the back. The lock button and volume rockers can also be seen on the right side of the device, with the headphone jack on top.
