Earlier, both the smartphones were leaked a few times, with the recent being Nokia 6 (2018) on TENAA. Now, this new report suggests that both the Nokia 9 and the Nokia 6 have also received the 3C certification. Another earlier leaked has already revealed that HMD Global will host an event on January 19 to launch flagship Nokia 9 and there could be another phone as an upgraded version of this year’s phone. Earlier, it was being speculated as Nokia 8, but considering the recent buzz about the Nokia 6 (2018) now it is said that the company may launch the new Nokia 6 alongside the high-end Nokia 9. Coming to the 3C certification report, there are two Nokia phones with model number TA-1054 and TA-1042 in the list. The TA-1054 model number is the Nokia 6 (2018) while the model number TA-1042 is the Nokia 9. It is to be noted that both the model numbers match the ones suggested by the previous leaks when both the phones get TENAA certification.
Nokia 6 (2018) specifications
The new Nokia 6 (2018) is expected to be an improved version of this year’s Nokia 6 in terms of camera, hardware, and even display. Nokia 6 (2018) TENAA report indicated that the phone will follow the on-going thin bezels trend, and come with a 5.5-inch 18:9 display. The new Nokia 6 may also come with on-screen navigation keys. Another change that the updated Nokia 6 will see is in its fingerprint sensor placement which may move to the back of the device. Nokia 6 (2018) will see a major change in its camera and hardware. The smartphone is tipped to come with a dual-camera setup at the back, yet again, unlike the original Nokia 6. It is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 630 or 660 processor, which may be coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage.
