Xiaomi will be introducing its last year flagship phone Mi4 in India tomorrow for an expectedly aggressive price of less than 20,000 INR. The invite suggests that it might not be the only thing Xiaomi announces at tomorrow’s event. Xiaomi MIUI6 was first unveiled in August 2014 and it’s about time Xiaomi introduces this new ROM on its popular Mi and Redmi series smartphones. Looks like Xiaomi will be launching Mi4 with Android 4.4 KitKat based MIUI 6 software and will be announcing the new ROM update for Mi3 and other smartphones in India as well.
Xiaomi Mi4 comes with a 5 inch full HD display with narrow bezels on the side and Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. The Mi4 is powered by Snapdragon 801 quad core processor with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. Xiaomi is not expected to launch 64 GB variant in India as of now. There is a 13 MP rear camera with large pixel size and LED flash, coupled with an 8 MP wide aperture front camera for detailed selfies. Other features include Stainless steel frame, 4G LTE, quick charge supported 3080 mAh battery, infrared LED, 3G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. With MIUI6 users will get access to enhanced lock screen notifications, new notification shade, over 5000 new themes, new mail app, new Phone app and much more. We will be present on the ground to cover all the action that unveils tomorrow. Stay tuned!
