The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was launched globally at an event in New York yesterday. The key features are a big 6.4-inch QHD+ AMOLED display, upgraded S Pen with Bluetooth connectivity, and a big 4,000mAh battery.

As mentioned above, the Galaxy Note 9 price in India starts at Rs. 67,900 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. While the 8GB RAM and 512GB inbuilt storage model costs Rs. 84,900. The smartphone is available for pre-orders starting from August 10 to August 21, and shipments will begin from August 20.
Coming to the launch offers, Galaxy Note 9 will be available with Rs. 6,000 cashback on using HDFC Bank cards. Moreover, buyers will also get the Gear Sport watch worth Rs. 22,900 for only Rs. 4,999 on pre-booking the phone. The Note 9 will also come with an exchange discount of up to Rs. 6,000. Also, buyers can choose no-cost EMIs on credit cards.

The Galaxy Note 9 features a 6.4-inch QHD+ (1440×2960 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity Display. Under the hood, the Indian variant packs the Exynos 9810 chipset coupled with up to 8GB RAM and up to 512GB storage options. The storage is expandable up to 512GB via microSD card. The dual-SIM variant in India will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung Experience UX on top.
In terms of optics, the Galaxy Note 9 has a 12MP dual pixel primary sensor with variable f/1.5-f/2.4 aperture and another 12MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Both the sensors feature dual OIS (optical image stabilization) and support 2x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom. For selfies, it sports an 8MP camera with f/1.7 aperture. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, ANT+, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Samsung has included a 4000mAh battery on the Note 9 that supports fast charging both with wired and wireless charging. The Galaxy Note 9’s S Pen has Bluetooth connectivity and both the S-pen and smartphone are IP 68 rated as well.
