Front Camera Samples
Galaxy J2 is equipped by a 5MP selfie camera like most of the other phone. It does a quite good job in natural lightning condition. The selfies clicked were quite detailed and looks good. Colors looks natural and exposure is also good. In artificial lighting, it adds a bit of noise to it which is pretty okay. But overall it does a quite decent job and pictures clicked were also quite good overall.
Rear Camera Samples
It comes with a 8MP primary camera which take decent shots. Images came out to be crisp and clear and colors looks good in natural light. Even in the artificial light the camera performed decently. Though it struggled in low light and the pictures clicked had a good amount of noise to it.
Artificial Light
This camera takes good shots in artificial light as well. Though the shots aren’t as good as the shots taken in natural light but still it was pretty good. The images came out to be bright and clear with natural colors and good detailing to it. It may click a distorted photo if the camera is shaky but that’s totally fine. Overall performance was quite good in artificial light.
Natural Light
In natural light this phone take very good shots with great detail. Images were crisp and looked rich in colour. Colors look natural and vibrant, exposure was also great. Close up shot had a good bokeh effect to it. Overall the camera impress in good lighting condition.
Low Light
Camera struggles a lot when it comes to low light condition. Images had good amount of noise to it and images were pretty blurry too. It hardly captured the objects and the images were full of noise. Performance was quite disappointing in low light.
Galaxy J2 Camera Verdict
Overall it’s a decent camera but doesn’t do anything exceptional. It performs just like any other mid-range 8MP cam. Images were good in the good lightning condition but struggles a lot when it comes to low light shots. it performed good and we can’t expect more than this at a price point of INR 9,750.
