To recall, the Vivo Y83 was launched in China last week. Now, the phone comes to India as an offline exclusive. Also, as expected the price of the mid-range has been set to Rs. 14,990. Apart from notch display and Helio P22 processor, other highlights of the device are a 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, Face Unlock feature, etc.
Vivo Y83 Specifications
The new Vivo phone comes with a 6.22-inch HD+ (1520×720 pixels) 2.5D curved glass IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Also, it is a notch display with 19:9 aspect ratio.
The Vivo Y83 is powered by a new 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 12nm processor with 650MHz IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It is coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory which is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. The dual SIM phone runs on Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Camera wise, it sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. There is an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. It also sports a back-mounted Fingerprint sensor. Dimensions of the phone are 155.21x 75.24 x 7.7mm and its weight is 151 grams. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS and it packs a 3,260mAh battery.
