The SD card slot has been integrated with SIM Tray and can allow storage expansion by up to 128 GB. Imaging hardware is top notch with a 13 MP camera wide aperture F2.0 lens and a 5 MP front selfie shooter with f2.4 lens. Another highlight is HiFi 2.0 Audio setup which combines Yamaha YSS-205X digital sound processing chip, SABRE ES9601 and OPA1612 Amplifier for rich audio experience. software is customized Android 4.4.4 KitKat. To keep things running, there is a 2000 mAh battery inside, which sounds about average. Since there is no VOOC like fast charging in X5 Max, battery could be a limiting factor. Other features include 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, USB OTG and Bluetooth 4.0. The slim and sleek Vivo X5 Max is built from Magnesium Alloy and Stainless steel, and flaunts an anti-fingerprint coating on the back surface. If you fancy Slim Smartphones, Vivo X5 Max has a lot to offer. However, Oppo R5, with similar hardware will soon be launched in India for under 30,000 INR price to rival Vivo X5 Max. Surprisingly, Vivo wishes to sell this via offline networks only. Vivo X5 Max will be available in India later this month for 32,980 INR.
