The Xiaomi Amazfit smartwatch has features such as 1.28-inch always-on color touch display, over 30 days of battery life, GPS, barometer, heart rate sensor and 3-axis accelerometer for activity tracking. The smartwatch can also be connected to Android or iOS devices, allowing you to manage emails, messages, calls, and notifications on the watch itself.
Xiaomi Amazfit Bip features
The Xiaomi Amazfit Bip sports a 1.28 inch (176 x 176 pixels) color Always-on reflective touch display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It comes with AF coating that provides an at-a-glance view of the time, date, steps, weather, and other stats. Since it can be connected to your phone via Bluetooth 4.0 LE and is compatible with both Android and iOS device, you can receive notifications for calls, messages, emails, and other apps on the always-on color touch display.
It offers multisport tracking which allows you to track your runs, cycling and other activities with mapped routes, detailed stats and heart rate zones. It also shows Daily step count, calories burnt, distance covered and can also provide sleep tracking details such as duration, sleep phases and awake times. Sensors on the watch include optical heart rate sensor for heart rate zones, 3-axis accelerometer, Air pressure sensor (barometer) for elevation, a Geomagnetic sensor (compass) and GPS + GLONASS for route tracking. The watch comes with 20 mm standard width changeable watch band. It comes with IP68 rating and is resistant to dust, rain and splashing. The smartwatch is powered by a 190mAh Li-Polymer Battery that offers up to 30 days of battery life with regular use and up to 45 days battery life with minimal notifications use.
Pricing and Availability
The Xiaomi Amazfit Bip is priced at US$ 99 (approx. Rs. 6,400). It comes in Onyx Black, Cinnabar Red, White Cloud and Kokoda Green colors. Currently, it is listed on Amazfit US website. Some of the color variants of the smartwatch will start shipping in March in the US. However, there is no word on its availability in other markets as of now.
